SNEC 2024 PV exhibition | VG Solar innovatively develops new solutions to build a digital intelligent ecosystem

On June 13th, the annual photovoltaic event - SNEC PV+ 17th (2024) International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (Shanghai) Conference and Exhibition opened. More than 3,500 exhibitors from all over the world participated in the event to share the industry's cutting-edge technology, collision inspiration, and stimulate the vitality of industrial innovation.

In this exhibition, VG Solar unveiled multiple core products to the show, and launched two highly customized, scenario-based tracking system solutions. The new scheme, which can obtain higher power generation gain in special terrain and weather environment, attracted a lot of attention once it was launched, and there was an endless stream of visitors stopping to watch and consult in front of the VG Solar booth.

New program innovation and upgrading, leading the new trend of tracking system

Relying on a mature R & D team and many years of field application experience, VG Solar has innovated and upgraded the existing tracking system solutions, and independently developed new tracking system solutions that are more suitable for special terrain and weather conditions - ITracker Flex Pro and XTracker X2 Pro.

ITracker Flex Pro flexible full drive tracking system innovatively uses flexible transmission structure to achieve comprehensive improvement in drive performance, operation and maintenance convenience, and return on investment. Compared with the traditional rigid transmission structure, the flexible full drive structure used in the wind system has outstanding advantages, simplifying the structure and improving the delay, and the maximum single-row 2P arrangement can be up to 200+ meters. According to customer needs, continuous or intermittent arrangements can be flexibly selected to adapt to different working conditions, further reducing the design, installation, maintenance and other comprehensive costs. At the same time, the system realizes the breakthrough of single point drive, multi-point drive and then full drive through the design of single column installation drive mechanism, which effectively solves the problem of wind-induced resonance of the tracking system.

The XTracker X2 Pro tracking system is specifically designed for special terrain such as mountains and subsidence areas, which can achieve "cost reduction and efficiency" in uneven terrain projects. The system installs a series of 2P components in a single row, has low requirements on pile driving accuracy. It can resist pile foundation settlement above 1 meter, and meet the maximum 45°slope installation. Relevant test experiments show that the system, combined with a new generation of intelligent controller independently developed by VG Solar, can achieve an additional power generation gain of up to 9% compared to the conventional tracking bracket system.

Inspection robots make their debut, adding a boost to the intelligent ecosystem

In recent years, VG Solar has adhered to the path of independent innovation and continued to increase its research and development. In addition to introducing new innovations in the photovoltaic front-end market, VG Solar has also made frequent efforts in the photovoltaic post-market. It have successively launched photovoltaic cleaning robots and inspection robots, adding assistance to the construction of a digital intelligent photovoltaic ecosystem.

In this exhibition, VG Solar has set up four exhibition areas: tracking system, cleaning robot, inspection robot and balcony photovoltaic support system. In addition to the tracking system exhibition area receiving a lot of attention at the exhibition, the first appearance of the inspection robot exhibition area is also very popular.

The inspection robot launched by VG Solar is mainly suitable for large base projects. The inspection robot with deep integration of AI technology, the intelligent operation and maintenance system rooted in the independent research and development of the UAV, can respond to commands in real time and work efficiently. It has excellent performance in reducing operation and maintenance costs and increasing power generation of the power station, and is expected to become another operation and maintenance "weapon" after the cleaning robot.
